hi, i’m yu! i'm a multimedia artist currently based in singapore & london. my eyes are always drawn to the fragile; movements and meetings between lost driftwood, light and skin, that cannot be arrested. yet, i find myself desperately chasing its afterimage. this yearning to live is translated to surreal images; whether on print, canvas or the digital screen.
at present, i'm learning to translate my observations of human-nature and microcosms into spontaneous yet precise images. i'm also searching for spaces to play, re-examine and transform my practice as i pursue an illustration degree. you may sometimes find me writing short prose and poetry.
